Newman Energy Research is the sole global provider of VIRF (Vitrinite Inertinite Reflectance Fluorescence) analysis. Whereas standard VR relies on subjective and consequently unreliable identification of vitrinite based on morphology, VIRF utilises quantitative fluorescence to objectively classify reflectance populations. This provides significantly increased data resolution and dramatically higher confidence of results. We provide a full suite of analysis packages, from data only up to providing a full petrographic report, as well as sampling advice and consultation.
